I have very fond memories of the ferry, which we used as a family travelling between Livingstone to Chobe to go tiger fishing where I once caught an enormous catfish (vundu). The Livingstone road at that time (1966) to Kazagula was a dirt road which became very corregeted and needed one to travel at speed to ride the corregations. Great country Zambia made some wonderful friends such as Gabrial Chisimba with whom a shared a number of lion beers. One Zambia One Nation was the cry at that period.
