Panic and joy as Boteti River bursts its banks
RAKOPS: As the Boteti River started cascading into Rakops village last weekend, jubilation soon turned into trepidation as residents started thinking about the safety of their children.
The river, which has been dry for over two decades, was welcomed by the tribal leader in the village, Diane Jacob who said a fortnight ago that it was going to be a big boost to the economic situation in Rakops and other villages along the river.
