Local govt promotes high moral, ethical values

LOBATSE Minister of Local Government, Mr Lebonaamang Mokalake says his ministry subscribes to a culture of high moral and ethical values. The minister was speaking during the launch of the Lobatse Town Councils communication and customer care strategies along with a fraud prevention plan. Mr Mokalake said the goals and objectives of providing services would not be realized if fraud, corruption, dishonesty, maladministration and irregular practices were not rooted out.

He said the local government ministry had been leading in reported corruption cases and wished other local authorities could follow the footsteps of the Lobatse Town Council by declaring war against corruption.
