Zimbabwe: Tsvangirai, Mugabe `Happy With Zuma Talks`

Johannesburg — ZIMBABWEAN President Robert Mugabe and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai said they were satisfied with talks mediated by President Jacob Zuma yesterday aimed at salvaging their power-sharing unity government.

Emerging from nearly two hours of talks with Zuma at a luxury hotel in Harare, Mugabe said: “We’ve started a discussion which is going on very well.”

Former opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) leader Tsvangirai also said the talks were “going very well”.
