Botswana Police commissions new uniform

GABORONE – The Botswana Police Service (BPS) last week officially displayed its new uniform for both summer and winter seasons and is expected to be in use come April this year.

The new uniform was unveiled by the Commissioner of Police, Mr Thebeyame Tsimako during a media breakfast briefing. He said style, texture and quality were the essential features which were considered when it was selected.

Mr Tsimako said the uniform will cost P24 million, adding that some officers complained that the current uniform is not comfortable.
