Zimbabwe: Two-Term Limit for President

Harare — Zanu-PF wants the new constitution to limit Presidential terms to a maximum of two five-year tenures but with full executive powers retained.

This is revealed in a position paper Zanu-PF intends to distribute to party supporters across the country ahead of the constitutional outreach programme.

Zanu-PF provincial chairman for Harare Cde Amos Midzi on Thursday also told party supporters at an inter-district meeting that the position paper would deal with various critical issues.
