Botswana, Australia expand investment links

CANBERRA – Botswana and Australia have agreed to encourage expanded trade and investment links through education, tourism as well as natural resources, among others.

President Lt Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama and the Australian Prime Minister, Mr Kevin Rudd signed a plan of action aimed at building on the already existing foundation of the bilateral relationship.

In the plan of action signed yesterday, the two leaders underlined their shared commitment to strengthened high-level engagement. President Khama is in Australia for four days.
