GABORONE – Government, through the Department of Broadcasting Services, has been exploring the possibility of establishing strategic partnerships to facilitate digital migration.
Speaking during a digital migration workshop in Gaborone on Monday, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Public Administration, Ms Tickey Pule said the move to digital broadcasting was the biggest transformation since the introduction of colour television.
Ms Pule said unlike analogue receivers, digital receivers could operate in motion such as in a car or aeroplane.
