Africa seeks ICT knowledge

ADDIS ABABA – Africa has a lot to do to become competitive with the rest of the world as far as Information and Communication Technologies (ITCs) are concerned.

Consequently, this years African Union (AU) summit in Ethiopia is held under the theme: Information and Communication Technologies in Africa, Challenges and Prospects for Development.

The aim is to brainstorm and map out ways through which member states can shape social and economic behaviour of the African people using ICTs.

ICTs have become a powerful tool in communication, enhancing business growth and changing lifestyles.
