Residents appeal to Khama

MOKUBILO – Mokubilo and Mmea residents have complained to President Lt Gen Seretse Khama Ian Khama about acute shortage of water in their villages.

The residents complained during kgotla meetings addressed by the president recently water shortage contributed to lack of developments in their area.

We have been promised a second water tank but the council has failed to live up to its promise, they said.

President Khama also heard that the Remote Area Development Programme (RADP) had been stopped while some residents had not received any livestock under the programme hence the residents appealed for the revision of the scheme.

They also asked for anti-retroviral drugs to be issued from the local health posts.
