Botswana businesses the most upbeat in the region

Botswana’s privately held businesses are more optimistic about the economy and their businesses than they were last year despite the ravaging effects of the global economic downturn.

A report complied by international business consultants Grant Thornton says despite energy cost and consumer demand concerns, businesses in Botswana are more optimistic than they were in 2008 and are more upbeat about the future than their counterparts in the region.
