Presidential Affairs and Public Administration Minister Margaret Nasha was expected to address Members of Parliament (MPs) yesterday to inform them that their stay at the Parliamentary Flats will be terminated immediately after the dissolution of Parliament next month.

President Ian Khama is expected to dissolve Parliament next month as the nation prepares for this year’s general election in October.

It is understood that MPs “will be paid their gratuities in August and cease to be paid monthly salaries” according to some MPs who chose to remain anonymous.
