In an unprecedented move, an embittered former cabinet minister and Palapye legislator Boyce Sebetela, is trying to use the parliamentary platform to clear his name of any wrongdoing during his tenure as Minister of Communications, Science and Technology.


Sebetela was the Minister of Communications, Science and Technology from September 2002 to October 2004 and has been mentioned in allegations of tender irregularities.

He has submitted a motion to the Clerk of the National Assembly requesting government to set up a commission of enquiry as a matter of urgency to investigate allegations of corruption against the former Minister of Communications, Science and Technology, during his term of service at the Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology.
