S/Phikwe targets 100% access to sewerage services

SELEBI-PHIKWE – Selebi Phikwe mayor, Mr Lekang Mukokomani, has indicated that the town will have almost 100 per cent access to waterborne sewerage services early next year.

Mr Mukokomani said he hoped that after completion of the on-going construction of major sewerage infrastructure facilities, Selebi-Phikwe Town Council will be able to offer residents a readily available access to sewerage services and press ahead with plans to completely phase out pit latrines.

The multi million pula projects, which include sewers, pump stations, and lining of sewerage ponds, are due for completion in March next year.
