SELEBI PHIKWE – A total of 53 offenders were nabbed and charged during a two-day police operation dubbed Defrost Two in Selebi Phikwe.
The Selebi Phikwe Police combined forces with other government departments such as Botswana Defence Force, Bye Law, Labour officers, Immigration Department, Consumer Affairs, Environmental Health and Fire division of Selebi Phikwe Town Council to clean out crime from the town’s environment.
Selebi Phikwe Police station commander Superintendent Victor Nlebesi explained that the aim of the operation was to check if all Botswana laws were obeyed.
