Global Expo begins tomorrow

GABORONE – The fourth edition of Global Expo, which starts tomorrow at Fairgrounds has attracted exhibitors from as far as Brazil, India and China.

Speaking in an interview, Botswana Export Development and Investment Authority (BEDIA) Deputy Director for Communications, Ms Kungo Lentswe said the exposition would be held under the theme Unlocking opportunities in the current Global Recession.

The theme centres on the current global recession and Ms Lentswe said it would look at how businesses could be motivated by the recession.

In addition to the exhibitors from the three countries, there would be some from the African continent.

Ms Lentswe said their focus for this years Global Expo was on domestic investments and how they could do business in other countries, especially within the Southern African region.
