Appeal papers filed on Monday

Suspended Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) secretary general, Mr. Gomolemo Motswaledi’s lawyers on Monday filed an appeal against the recent High Court ruling that while in office, the State President cannot be sued in his private capacity. They have requested that the appeal be heard by five non-resident justices of the Court of Appeal.
