Ghanzi District Council gets over P2 million

NEW XADE – The Ghanzi District Council has been given over P2 million under the economic promotion fund to buy livestock for remote area dweller farmers.
Speaking at a four-day training workshop on basic farm management in New Xade recently, senior social and community development officer under the Remote Area Development Programme, Mr Lesego Seidisa said 90 beneficiaries will be given cattle while 120 will get goats, adding that those who want cattle will be given five each while those who prefer goats will get 15 each.
