THE Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T) leadership is split right through the middle over how it should respond to the Southern African Development Community (SADC)’s decision to press for the lifting of sanctions slapped on President Robert Mugabe and his close associates while relegating its demands to a subsidiary of the regional bloc due to meet next month.

In a fit of rage yesterday, a senior MDC-T official revealed a plan by the party to ditch its previous stance endorsing the irreversibility of the controversial land reform programme in one of the clearest signs yet that the stability of the inclusive government remains uncertain.
