DRTS combats theory-testing backlog

The Department of Road Transport and Safety (DRTS) has increased the pace of theory-testing for driving licence applicants to clear a backlog estimated at 5,000.
DTRS spokesman Amos Motshegwe said booking dates have been brought forward to avoid long waits. He informed those who were initially booked for theory testing at Mogoditshane from October 5-7 to report on October 5 in the morning at the Central Transport Organisation (CTO) Hall in Gaborone. He advised those booked to sit the tests from October 5 to December 31 to be on the look out for new dates at DRTS offices in Mogoditshane, Fairgrounds Mall, Maruapula, DRTS headquarters at BBS Mall and local newspapers.
