Automatic succession of State President in spotlight No law is cast in stone – Ntuane
President Lt Gen Ian Khama’s alleged ‘succession grand plan’ as reported in the private media last week has aroused a furious debate within the Botswana Democratic party where members are said to have voiced reservations within the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) and dissenting views about automatic succession, an arrangement pioneered by former President Ketumile Masire.
