Oct. 28 (Bloomberg) — Thirteen hours of talks between Zimbabwe’s main political parties failed to make meaningful gains and the Southern African Development Community’s Organ on Politics and Security called for an urgent regional meeting.

The security organ, known as the troika, urged a wider SADC summit to “further review the current political situation in Zimbabwe as a matter of urgency,” in an e-mailed statement early today.
