Cuba bestows medal on VP

GABORONE – Visiting Cuban Deputy Minister of International Cooperation, Mr Ramon Ripoll has bestowed a Medal of Friendship on Vice President Lt Gen. Mompati Merafhe.
Mr Ripoll said the medal was from the Cuban President, Mr Raul Castro and was in honour of General Merafhe, who is former minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
