RAMOTSWA - Otse and Mogobane residents have commended government for introducing good programmes that will benefit Batswana.
Speaking during kgotla meetings addressed by their MP, Ms Lesego Motsumi, the residents said they welcomed changes in SHHA, ALDEP and the minimum wages for domestic workers and herdsmen.
The resident said the initiatives were a step in the right direction and hoped Batswana would benefit a lot and improve their standards of living.
They said the assistance provided in ALDEP programme would encourage more Batswana to plough and produce enough food to feed the nation.
Otse Souths Councillor, Mr Haggy Isaacs, called on Batswana to produce more to avoid depending on neighbouring countries.
