GABORONE - The Minister of Communications Science and Technology, Mrs Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi is expected to officially open a regional technical meeting on Additional Protocol Implementation in Gaborone on Monday.
A news release from the ministry says the main agenda of meeting is for the experts from International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to assist IAEA member states of the African region to implement international safety provisions in the use of nuclear technology.
Botswana and other African countries signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Safetyguards Agreements and Additional Protocol.
